A brief but interesting segment with the great Dr Neil deGrasse Tyson. Another notable quote:
"It's the great tragedy, people employed in ways that don't fully tap everything they do best in life".
As he mentions, the world could be transformed overnight if we were to find a way to harness everyone's combination of talents. This does raise several important points though: Is it the failure of society or the individual that these combinations of talents are not fully expressed? And what if society doesn't find those talents desirable? Is it then up to the individual to combine those talents in a form which is then deemed valuable?
